About
Heather Black, AJP
Owner, Designer, Artist

I began making jewelry over 20 years ago. At first it was a hobby to pass the time as a kid living in the South. I gave jewelry away as gifts to my friends and family. Over the years, my designs and style changed and I improved my jewelry making techniques. I decided to make a professional go at it in 2007 when I moved to Massachusetts. I sell my artisan jewelry on my website, at local craft and art fairs, and to family and friends.
My Design Philosophy
Creating chic and timeless artisan jewelry using premium materials is what I know and love to do. My goal when designing jewelry is to highlight the natural beauty of gemstones. Because I use precious metals and high grade gemstones, my jewelry will last for years to come.
I have over 15 years of experience buying and selling gemstones. I source all of my own materials used in my designs. I obtained my Applied Jewelry Professional certificate in December 2022 from the Gemological Institute of America and am currently enrolled in the Graduate Gemologist diploma program at the Gemological Institute of America.
